Former Democratic Labour Party MP and cabinet minister Stephen Lashley says he’s expecting his party to recover from its thirty to nothing election defeat last year and says he wants to see it speedily put in place, a line-up of its key spokespersons on various issues.

Speaking to moderator Peter Wickham on the Down to Brass Tacks call-in program on Voice of Barbados, he also commented on the decision by St. Michael West MP, Bishop Joseph Atherley, to cross the floor to become opposition leader.

He describes the decision as somewhat farcical but believes its part of the nature of politics.
