Barbados seeking to work with US to stop the flow of guns into the country

Barbados’ Ambassador to Washington, Noel Lynch, says Barbados is seeking to work with United States authorities to stem the flow of guns into this country.

Ambassador Lynch, speaking on the Voice of Barbados call-in program getting Down to Brass Tacks, said security issues are a key priority for Barbados in engaging with the US, especially in the face of a spate of gun crime here.

Mr. Lynch also noted that Barbados is playing a key role in bringing the Caricom caucus of ambassadors together to engage the US on a number of matters.
