Forde concern about abuse of narcotics by young people

Minister of Youth and Community Empowerment, Adrian Forde, has sounded a warning about a worrying substance abuse fad he says is growing among popularity among young people in this country.

Mr. Forde, the Member of Parliament for Christ Church West Central speaking in the House of Assembly, praised his cabinet colleague, the Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue economy, Kirk Humphrey for banning the use of styrofoam cups as part of efforts to eliminate single-use plastics from the environment.

But his concern was not just about the impact on the environment but about their use by youngsters in their abuse of certain narcotics.
