Schoolgirl is Island’s Latest Road Fatality

A 12 year old student of the Springer Memorial School is this island’s latest road fatality.

Destiny Martina Thompson died after being struck by a car while attempting to cross the street after disembarking a minibus along Boarded Hall Main Road, St George on Wednesday afternoon. She received injuries to her head and died on the spot.

The car was driven by 26 year old Alicia Mayers of Wildey, St Michael.
